READING AND DESIGNING THE AREA OF LAMBOUSA-KARAVAS, CYPRUS: ACHEIROPOIETOS MONASTERY
The workshop will have a duration of ten days, fromNovember 19 to November 29, 2014, at Girne American University, Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts, Cyprus and will be dedicated to the study and design of the area of Lambousa-Karavas, including the archaeological area of Lapithos, the church and the Byzantine monastery of Achiropitou and the church of Ag. Eulalios. Participation is open to Sapienza students enrolled in the fifth year of the course in Architecture-Restoration and EU degree, doctoral candidates, master students and specialization students of courses in Architecture of Sapienza. Participants will continue the work done during the workshop as part of an graduation laboratory dedicated to the same theme, which will be activated during the academic year 2014-2015.
